I am a Vice President at Bank of America and serve as a strategic advisor to nonprofit institutions in the Healthcare & Institutions Group.
This is my personal blog. It is focused on “authentic leadership.” My philosophy is that if you are going to lead well, then you must “be willing to be the example you want others to follow.”
I write about leadership, relationships, life, failure, and many other random thoughts that come to mind — if anything sensible can come to mind after getting knocked in the head playing football for sixteen years… six of which were in the National Football League.
To save you a quick Google search… I played for the Seattle Seahawks (’94-’98) and the Minnesota Vikings (’99).
My goal is to create encouraging and empowering content that will equip you to take ownership of your life and maximize your God-given potential in order to win back your community, family, and personal life. If you are “unpolished” and in the process of “becoming” — or understand anything about God’s grace — then this blog is for you.
I like to talk more than I like to write, but ideally I will post two to three times a week.
I am very passionate about my faith, my family, my work, and making a difference in the lives of people in the communities where I serve. And I have a great opportunity to live out my passion and purpose via my work serving nonprofit organizations.
At Bank of America, our group is responsible for bringing innovative ideas, products, and services to our clients that will help streamline operations, increase profitability, and improve productivity so they can focus more on fulfilling their mission. Our clients consist of hospitals and health systems, social service, cultural, membership, faith-based organizations, private K-12, and higher education institutions in Georgia, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
