Why Christians Struggle with Goal-Setting and Life-Planning

I subscribe to a number of different blogs from time to time and recently came across a blog post that reviewed Michael Hyatt’s e-book, Creating Your Personal Life Plan. In the post, there was a question posed as to whether or not Michael Hyatt’s approach of “A Step-by-Step Guide for Designing the Life You’ve Always Wanted” was Biblical. The author also talked to friends (I assume they were Christian) who suggested that goal-setting and life-planning of any kind are directly opposed to God’s Word.

[In case you did not know, many Christians struggle with the idea of setting goals and planning their lives.]
