Looking back, how often did you find yourself truly growing when things were… comfortable?
In challenging times, it’s tempting to try and find a way to have things go back to the way they were.
Seasons of growth can be painful — personality conflicts at work, loss of a job, illness, marital crisis — and tend to be catalysts for moving one step closer to the larger story of our lives.
Maybe you are in that place right now and feel like it’s time to quit.
But now is not the time to quit because these are all tests…
Tests that reflect the depth and width of your calling.
Unless you feel you were called to remain… a baby.
Question: How do you typically respond to the pain associated with growth and maturity? You can leave your comments below.

Definitely agree. Personal growth ends when you sit in a comfort zone.
When looking to grow, one must always be aware and interested in new opportunities. It is important to pursue new opportunities as part of personal growth just as it is important to leave the comfort zone.
You’re doing an admirable job persevering through challenging times. Proud of you.
Thanks! I guess I need to Heed my own advice, shush up, and quit complaining.
